Dispatches from the Blizzard
Feb. 1st, 2011 06:30 pmYep. There's a lot of snow. Mostly wind at this point, but lots of snow too.
I went to work as normal at 10:45, but it was called off at 12:30. I'm fairly certain that we won't have work or really ....anything tomorrow. The twitter feed for BloNo and State Farm are sort of hilarious.
Taking care of Lori's dog while she's working. We were sort of hoping that she'd be escorted to work by the National Guard, but alas, that didn't happen. (We'll give you the nurse for the humvee!) Duke and the roommates dog, Ein, do not get along. Actually, it's more that Ein is Dennis the Menace to Duke's Mr Wilson. Ein is Dukes annoying little yapper.
Duke however, is patient. He's taking his turn to be seperated. He mostly is just following people around and being lazy on one of the couches otherwise. We're watching Eureka and having a nice lie-in. I'm hoping that when we get tomorrow off to do a lot of dancing and get about halfway through. I want to have the whole thing done by the 19th, so I have a whole month to practice and get it awesome.
I'm also so excited. I'm getting my bonus this month and I spent some already, just to make sure I get a spot. 12 hours, 4 workshops with Rachel Brice at Tribal Revolution. I'm squeeing here. I can't wait until June.
