Weekend in review

Friday
Friday was pretty low-key, except for 10 minutes after I got out of work. I turned out of the parking garage in just the wrong way and played pinball with my car on the fresh snow, ice and wind. After I realized that I wasn't going to regain control of the car, I just sort of decided to let go and see what happens.
I think I need better survival skills. Anyways, I only hit the curbs on both sides of the street, popped a hubcap and not the car behind me, so life moves on. We'll get either the hubcap back on, or a new one and check the alignment this week. It was a bad week for cars in my family, as my dad got rearended by an underinsured driver.
The rest of the night was great. We went out to the new place to meet with Will's parents and ask questions and sign the lease. Then they took us out for dinner. I wish I had gotten more words in, but Nick is a talker. I draw the line at him telling stories about my family though.
Saturday
A quick morning shift (in which I picked up my hubcap, having left it at the side of the road) followed by eating my leftovers and getting ready for the Thrilling Zilling workshop with Mahira. Which was a complete blast. I hate zills, but I want to be a well rounded dancer. Instead of learning patterns, we learned interpretation and zilling with the music, as well as zill basics and then veil and zills at the same time. I like zills better now and I want to play with them at Springwars one night. I'm going to do a better writeup at my wordpress blog tommorow.
Night was spent ....actually, I don't really remember. Danny came over, I ate culvers and went to bed at a reasonable hour.
Sunday:
Had lunch with Nick, Lori and Amanda at Noodles and Company, after I bought a lot of bad for you food at Aldi. We girls then went out to a candy store and bought nummies. I did laundy and Nick left a pen in his pants and so ruined them.
He is incapable of putting clothes in a hamper. Next to it, on top, in his office, in the living room, yes, the hamper? Not at all.
Notes
1. I really don't recommend playing pinball with your car, no matter HOW FUN IT SOUNDS.
2. Got no work done on anything this weekend. Disapointing.
3. Really need to jazz up my solo costume for the showcase, and figure out something for the group piece.
4. Saw an AWESOME Alice in Wonderland tattoo today. I'm getting the tattoo itch, and I've been putting it off forever cause I'm so nervous about needles.
